Although this is not an equipment maintenance course it does provide basic hands on care for your SCUBA gear. It will provide you with practical knowledge that you can use with everyday diving.
PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty:
The purpose of the Peak Performance Buoyancy Speciality course is to polish a diver’s buoyancy control beyond that of an Open Water diver level. With this in mind this course is ideal for those who haven’t been in the water for a while or for divers that are planning a holiday diving on a tropical coral reef.
PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty:
The PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty shows you how to care for a diver following a diving incident where oxygen first aid treatment is necessary.
This is a very worthwhile course to complete with the Emergency First Response Course. You will cover the basic skills of identifying a diver with decompression illness/sickness and practice giving the appropriate oxygen treatment for each case.
